At Crossed Anchors – The Grapevine, we are more than just a brewery and tap room; we are a celebration of craft beer, community, and culinary artistry. Our Story

Established in 2010, The Grapevine has been a labor of love, born from a passion for great beer and the desire to create a welcoming space for our community. We take immense pride in being a local, family-owned brewery that values quality, creativity, and sustainability in every aspect of our operation. Our commitment to these principles shines through in every sip of our beer and every bite from our Ruby burger kitchen.

OUR KEG BEERS

Keg beers are filtered and force-carbonated, which makes them colder than cask ales and fizzy, and expands their lifespan.
They’re gas-driven too, which is why you’ll notice the beer flow steadily from a tap on the bar, rather than pulled through the line, as with cask ale.

OUR CASK BEERS

Cask ale, or real ale, is beer that has gone through a secondary fermentation in the vessel from which it is dispensed.
The carbonation occurs naturally from the fermentation process.

Shaka is in Kitchen residency at the Grapevine Brewhouse in Exmouth.
